First Communion

celebration of the Eucharist is at the heart of the life of the Church. The Christian community gathers to celebrate the mystery of God’s love as it is revealed in the sacred Scriptures and in the sacrificial meal. Those who gather are fed by the Word and by the Body and Blood of Christ.

The First Eucharist Program will begin in February with a parent meeting.  Two dates for this meeting will be offered.  The meetings will be held at St. Marys in Stillwater from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Great Hall.  Only one meeting needs to be attended.  The dates are:  Tuesday, February 7, 2012, and Sunday, February 12, 2012. Materials will be given to parents to work on at home with their children.

On Saturday, April 14, 2012, there will be a retreat for students.  It will be held at the Education Center (423 S. 5th St, Stillwater) and St. Mary’s Church & Atrium.  The retreat will run from 8:30 a.m. – 11:45 p.m.
