G.K. Chesterton

Beginning the week of September 12, 2011 Dr. Thomas Loome will be leading a series of 13 classes, devoted to two of the most important books of G.K. Chesterton – The Everlasting Man and St. Thomas Aquinas – which is open to all who are interested,  non Catholics as well as Catholics.  There is no charge for these classes, but all students should have their own copies of the two books by Chesterton, which can be purchased at the first class.  These two books are available in a handsome paperback edition published by Ignatius Press.  Because I’ll be ordering bulk directly from Ignatius, the books will be available for $20 for the lot (a 40% discount from the publisher’s price).  For all of these classes on G.K. Chesterton, we will follow the same weekly schedule as in the past with the Catechism:  Mondays in Hudson, Thursdays in Stillwater – each class will therefore be taught twice.  If you cannot make one, feel free to attend the other.  Classses meet from 7:00pm – 8:30pm (St. Patrick’s in Hudson and St. Mary’s in Stillwater). For more information, please call 651-303-8406.
